Reminder for Fifth Grade Parents - Rising 6th Grade Parent Orientation Evening is on June 3rd, 2026, from 6-7pm in the Readington Middle School Cafeteria. Please come to learn more about RMS and what to expect next year as your child transitions into middle school. Presentations from the administration, the health office, the athletic director, and from students will be given.
Special Introduction to Financial Literacy - We are excited to announce a new step towards financial literacy for our students and families. In collaboration with Lumina8 LLC, we are launching an interactive Financial Literacy Program designed for Grade 4 and 5 students. This initiative will begin with introductory workshops for students on May 26–27, followed by a Virtual Family Webinar for parents on May 29. NEW! NJSLA Testing Information - Tomorrow and Friday, our 5th grade students will begin taking the NJSLA-A Science Assessment. Beginning Monday, our 4th and 5th grade students will begin the ELA and Math portions of the NJSLA-A assessments.As we prepare for testing, here are a few important reminders to help ensure a smooth testing experience for all students:
• Please make every effort to have students arrive to school on time.
• Make sure Chromebooks are fully charged each day.
• Smart watches and cell phones should be kept at home or stored in backpacks during testing.
• Encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast.
We appreciate your support and know our students will do a great job showing all they have learned this year!

Hunterdon Special Child Health Services Summer Camp - Hunterdon Special Child Health Services has shared its 2026 Summer Camp Listing, a valuable resource for families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or chronic or acute health conditions. This guide includes a range of day and overnight camp options designed to provide safe, engaging, and inclusive experiences for youth with diverse needs. In addition to camp descriptions, families will find websites, contact information, and resources for additional camp listings, as well as ideas for funding and financial assistance.
We encourage families to explore this resource to identify programs that best match their child’s interests and support needs, and to begin planning early, as many camps have application deadlines or limited enrollment.
